HUSQVARNA 51 55 CYLINDER KIT BY SIMONIAN'S SAW SERVICE
Meteor cylinder kit for the Husqvarna 51 or 55 chainsaw. Meteor cylinders are made in Italy. These are as good as OEM
WHEN RE PARING A SAW THAT HAS SCORED THE PISTON AND CYLINDER, IT IS BEST TO REPLACE THE INLET PIPE , CARB GASKET AND IMPULSE PIPE ,AS THESE ARE 3 ITEMS THAT CAN ALLOW AIR TO LEAK IN AND LEAN OUT THE MIX. I am also adding in the bulkhead as the threads tend to strip out leaving a weak seal between the carb and the bulkhead.
LETS DO THIS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON CHAINSAWS FOR 40 YEARS. I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THINGS GO BAD AND HOW TO PREVENT IT THE SECOND TIME.

You may also want to rebuild the carb and replace crank seals at this time or you can see how it goes and then come back later if the saw still does not run right.
